you'll likely be disappointed ...
if you listen with spirit -
wow"
(sometimes -
though certainly not always -
it is best to greet
a wonderful new friend
with singing hearts
and silent voices)

American Beech
Fagus grandifolia

about trees
so much as i rather
'introduce' kids
to venerable old
long-standing
friends of mine

Sugar Maple
Acer saccharum

i named this old friend
mister pareidolia
American Beech
